Thanks to a dedicated department and decades of experience, we produce columns for any type of press or heavy machinery, with lengths reaching up to 13 meters, ensuring top-tier precision and structural integrity.
To enhance manufacturing capabilities, Averoldi invested in upgrading its turning department and introduced a state-of-the-art thread rolling machine, capable of cold-forming metric and trapezoidal threads on diameters ranging from Ø80 mm to Ø330 mm.

Thread rolling creates threads through cold plastic deformation without cutting material away. This process eliminates the stress concentration points typical of traditional cut threads, significantly improving fatigue strength and mechanical lifespan—even under severe operating loads.
High production capacity combined with purpose-built machinery enables Averoldi to supply reliable, high-performance press tie-bars and columns to leading international equipment manufacturers.
